“Baie, baie dankie Carien & Toy.  Professioneel, klassiek en vol energie.  Enige bruid se droom.”
(Thank you so much Carien & Toy.  Professional, classic & full of energy.  Any bride’s dream.)

Letsatsi Lodge in Vanrhynsdorp was chosen as the venue because of it’s plain, but classic vibe. Everything from accommodation to ceremony to reception was done on site which made it less stressful for the bride. They were also responsible for the catering and the couple requested stylish, tasteful and plain food. The starter was a harvest table with lots of cheese, different loaves of bread and Renier’s’s Kalahari Craft beer on tap.

The flowers & décor of Minca and Renier’s wedding was the handy work of  Theresa Van Zyl (Letsatsi’s in-house wedding planner). They wanted an earthy, classic look with white, leaf green and gold being the predominant colors. The main idea was that less is more.

Theresa only used tulips, roses and branches with different leaves. Wooden tables with no under plates or tablecloths were draped in branches with green leaves a few roses and candles dappled in between.  Golden geometric shapes and a stunning chandelier were hung from the roof.  The chandelier also hung right over a table with the beautiful wedding cake on top.  The main table was a focal point in the reception hall thanks to the natural stone wall covered in fairy lights that it stood in front of. Elegant oversized white chairs were used.
